I have been following this post. Yet, I couldn't come to the conclusion for which battery to use. Could you please help me wih some options?

You're going to need a few cells in series and a few cells in parallel.

This question is relayed from our electrical team leader from Owls Racing. Does the short circuit protection imply the starter must be fused? Every other system on the car is protected from short circuit. Do we need to add a large circuit breaker to comply with the rule change? Any input would be appreciated.

John - They want the actual battery short circuit protected, not just all of the individual circuits. Just put the fuse on the positive lead at the battery.
