Job description: Mechanical product design engineer focused on aftermarket high performance automotive products. Responsible for designing, engineering, and testing. Work with a large range of projects and manage tasks to meet objectives and timelines. Work closely with product managers, suppliers, and manufacturing department to bring new products to market.
Responsibilities: Include, but not limited to: design responsibility including CAD and engineering, project management, progress reporting, organization, and testing oversight.
Requirements: Direct mechanical design engineering experience required, automotive powertrain component design experience highly desired. Must have direct experience with CAD and solid modeling. FEA experience a bonus. Solid experience with manufacturing processes, material and heat treat selection, design analysis required. Automotive drivetrain experience a bonus.
Must be technically astute, articulate, detail oriented, punctual, and with great verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organization, documentation, follow-up, computer and database skills are required. Must be open-minded team player with great attitude, pleasant disposition, and reasoning ability. Self-starter with ability to multi-task between several projects is required. Ability to take direction, lead tasks or projects, and work to a plan is expected.

Must relocate to Memphis, TN area. Some travel required.
Qualifications:
Pre-employment drug screening and background checks required.
Very good experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PDF printing, E-mail attachments, Internet searching.
Experience with Quick Base a plus, yet not required.
Undergraduate Mechanical Engineering degree required, Master degree in engineering desired.
