I have an old FSAE car that I autocross. It has a torson diff in a not so sealed housing. I just rebuilt it and sealed the housing. What level should I run the oil to keep from blowing out the seals. 1/2 or 3/4 full? Thanks. Chad

We usually refill ours 1/2 to 2/3 full.

Thanks. I will try that. Chad
You might want to add oil by weight rather than trying to measure height or volume.
Put the differential on a scale. Add oil (.7 g/cc or so) to the differential till you've added the weight you want.
