Thread: A question from a new member

    Hi everyone

My university has just started a Formula SAE team and hopefully if things go the right way we will be competing in the Australian FSAE competition.

    Currently i have two jobs

    a) Events Co-ordinator

    b) Design of steering mechanism

And the reason why i am writing this is to see if anyone has any information (books/computer programs) which would help me in the design of the steering mechanism.

    Cheers

Basically anything written by Carrol Smith is very useful. I don't know all of tehm, but they are "Design to Win", "Tune to Win", etc......
They don't only teach steering though, they are basically useful on all aspects of the design.
