Horizontal Fuel pump

Hello guys,

It's Ahmed Elkhodary from Cairo University Racing Team CURT, we are using an internal fuel pump, I would like to ask if it's ok to mount the pump and the sending unit horizontally on the bottom of the tank?

Yes, the pump can be in any orientation, as long as the pickup is immersed in fuel.

Not sure that's correct, Jonny. I believe the pump depends on the surrounding fuel for cooling. (For sure it will cook itself if run dry.) So, might better say: ...any orientation as long as it is immersed in fuel.
