Greetings FSAE peoples. You may remember me as the team leader of the UofGuelph AWD car 2004/05.
I've been working on a personal project, and as tool I created a spreadsheet that morphed into solving the kinematics for dual-wishbone suspension. So I decided to clean it up to make it usable, and see if I could sell it to make up some of the time spent creating it.
It starts on this page with whole-vehicle data. Some equations can be worked both ways, e.g. either define ride frequency and get spring rate, or define spring rate and get ride frequency:

*(This page was originally written by someone at Univ of Queensland.. still trying to track someone for permission to use)
Here is where the bulk of the calculations are done. I tried to not combine too many equations into one cell, so the majority are hidden rows which can be expanded. I will go into more detail later about the design flow:

Macros are used to change the key dynamic motion parameters, and the results displayed on an XY chart:

Another macro steps though each dynamic motion parameter, then plots key results:

Basic braking calculations are also included:

Price is $45 for the spreadsheet. It is completely open and not password protected. You guys are smart and could hack it anyways. I am trying to encourage an open-source environment, but can't waste time working on it if there is no financial benefit. It won't break your team's (or personal) budget.
