The built in table generators based on estimated hp/tq at specific RPM are a decent place to start. Getting someone else's table isn't going to help you that much. Everyone is going to have a different setup with different manifolds and exhausts and trigger setups and all of that. Makes sense to start from scratch instead of trying to get someone else's stuff to work.
For now, the MS1 plus the -Extra code is the way to go. I'm hoping by this time next year the MS2/ microsquirt (http://www.microsquirt.info/) will have the -Extra type features coded out.
Here's all the info you need...

we got it running pretty good, still needs to be datalogged and tuned with a load on it, and the idle is set kinda high(3000) other than that its loooking pretty promising, button up a few loss ends(literally) and we should be driving early this week

Dan G,
Did you get your Megasquirt running or did you switch to the PE unit? I was just curious, we haven't heard from anyone from UM-Dearborn lately. Thanks.

pretty sure from his updates on the MS forums he had it going, any tips with the MS and our restricted engines?

Couldn't get the MS to run above 2500rpm. It ran beautifully below that, but felt like it was hitting a rev limiter (obviously we disabled it to test) at that rpm.
We've been actively tuning the engine using the PE since Thursday. Its going along well, although we're still hitting a ceiling around 4500rpm. This is on the new 3.0 ohm Dyna coils.
I'd still like to retry the MS with this set of coils. More for self-confidence than anything else. After finding/working/fixing what seems like hundreds of frustrating issues, its pretty disappointing to have to stuff it in a drawer and put up the white flag.
On the plus side, I did just open up our new (to us, thanks ebay) Tektronics TDS210 digital oscope. LCD display, weighs about a pound, 1/10th the size of a regular CRT oscope. That should make reading/measuring coil dwell a bit easier.
Brian, I'll give you a call later today (Tuesday) to discuss our current setup and get your feedback.
Thanks.

Hi Dan,
I'm glad to hear you got up and running so quickly with the PE system. I figured you guys were ok since I didn't hear anything. Hopefully you will be able to get the Megasquirt finally working when you have more time.
Give our main line a call if you run into any problems. I am out of the country this week, but Jeff Krummen is handling tech calls while I am away.
