Hi folks!

At this time I have 3 questions about the following:
1. roll center height, I would like to know the advantages and disadvantages to locate it up or below to the ground plane which of these configs is more desirable for a FSAE car (front and rear susp) and why (its results in susp performance and handling)?
2. can any of U tell me if front roll center and rear roll center can be placed at the same height or if the heights must be different, and how these roll centers heights are influenced by the cg's location?
3. if any of U is using or have used anti squat geometry on the rear suspension, how much antisquat is good enough and its dependency to wheelbase?

Thank U,

Arturo, all of the questions you have asked cannot be answered by members of this forum. Those aspects of suspension design depend on many factors- wheelbase, total weight, component locations and cg location, but most of all your own design goals, and how you want the car to feel and react to the driver and tires when it is done.

im getting tired of these.... DESIGN IT, dont ask everyone else to give you a walk through...
