Hi,guys.I need some help from you.
Anybody would like to send me some information about the californian speedway(temp, attachment coefficient, gradient or the map, etc)?
Another question is:Is there a limitation of emission to a racing car?

yeah, i think the limit is somewhere around when 100% fuel comes out of the exhaust. You'd have to get a bit tricky to get more gas then that to come out, but i think you'd already be a tad on the rich side of the performance curve so there may not be any meaningful returns to trying to get more then 100% pure gas coming out of your exhaust.

Whats the chance that we might be seeing the terps out at fontana this year??

We will be there, we didn't register for East this year. Hot tires and in-n-out burger was favorable compared to rain and the concession stand.

Guys,
Hunan is the first ever university to enter Formula from mainland China, so a little consideration, please. And cleaner language on the forum would be appreciated, also.

abecedarian, the air temperature at the 2006 Formula SAE West event was as high 40 degrees celsius. You can expect it to be between 25 and 40 degrees.

And there are no limits on exhaust emissions, there is no exhaust emissions test, even though it is in California. There is a noise limit and a noise test, which each car must pass.

While there is no explicit emissions testing, this does come into play in the fuel economy portion of the endurance. If you exceed 26L/100km you get zero points in the fuel economy portion, plus a 4 minute penalty tacked onto your endurance time (2007 FSAE Rules 5.7.15.9)
