Hey, just looking for some late night reading material and wondering what you guys recommend for engine calibration and testing books/articles. Something fairly easy to read, but would provide injector sizing formulas and so forth. Thanks and good luck with your cars. Congrats to the teams that went to Nationals!

Not a book as such...

http://www.megasquirt.info/

It's a bit unstructured but between the FAQ and the 'MegaManual' almost every EFI subject is covered in some way. Much is 'generic' info, i.e. you don't need to be running MegaSquirt to benefit from it.

"How to Tune and Modify Engine Management Systems" Jeff Hartman (sp?)

"Four-Stroke Performance Tuning" A. Graham Bell

Both are excellent, but the second isn't all about EFI...good theory though.

Thanks a million! I thought I already sent a reply a while back but maybe not. I read the Megasquirt article that you speak of last year and that is the basis of my knowledge to this point. I am looking to expand on that and am going to find this book by Jeff Hartman.

Thanks again,

"Building and tuning high performance electronic fuel injection systems" by Ben Strader.

Probably the most comperhensive and relevant of all the titles out there. Also, if you've got the bucks, sign up for his course if it's coming to a town near you (www.efi101.com).

Well worth the price of admission!!
