Depends on how many bananas you feed your Apers

Although we have never used the "megasqurit" our fuel system usally doesn't supply very many apers, and the few we get are usally very pissed off. Always throwing things around and banging hands on chest. hope this helps.

Again a couple of smartass responses to a forum member whose first language is not English. How good is your Yiddish Erich or Richard?
Clearly what Aguy is asking is if someone can tell him what current the Gigaspurt draws. I know "It depends..etc etc.." but surely some Nanosprayers out there can give him a ballpark figure?

Well my Yiddish isn't that great but my google skills are amazing. Going to google.com and typing in "Megasquirt Current Draw" yielded a list of sites that talk about current draw. The fourth link on the page yielded this quote:
"With LEDs flashing, etc., MegaSquirt has an average current draw of about 120 milliamperes. Of course, this is without any load. The injectors and fuel pump require additional power, but power for these are drawn externally, rather than from MegaSquirt, as MegaSquirt just grounds these circuits."
And amazingly the website address was www.megasquirt.INFO (http://www.megasquirt.INFO)
Amazing, I'm getting sick and tired of people who just want an answer and don't do research!

Perhaps he did Google Erich. Considering he misspelt Battery, Ampere and Megasquirt in his post here, its unlikely he would get a hit on Google. This is a guy who probably doesn't use the English alphabet characters on a daily basis.
I understand your annoyance at some recent requests on here, and I am with you on that, but I thought his request was reasonable and the smartass responses unreasonable.

The MS draws about 150-175 mA. You'll also have to factor in your fuel pump, injectors, ignition coils, and any other electrical components, none of those are included in that number.

Pat, I can see your irritation at the smart-ass comments, but mister Aguy DID spell battery correctly in his last post asking people to tell him which battery to use. He also used the perfect web shorthand that these kids seem to prefer "u" instead of "you" and such. Ricky and E-rich are probably just tired of people holding out a soup cup and looking for designs to fall in.

another great way of venting out your frustration, is to write your opinion or suggestion on what needs to be done for the forum.
we are looking into ways of improving this website and keeping all the "newbie" question in one area, so that if it ever comes up ... we can delete it straight away.
I'll see if i can put the suggestion thread on sticky.
