Judging by the earliest date of the results of a search for "team forums", I'm guessing these aren't around anymore?

If they are, how would someone go about setting one up for his own team? Email/pm to someone?

The Team Forums were turned off because there was no way to allow each team to manage their own forum access. Because of the constant changing of team personnel, this created a lot of maintenance on my part which my time does not permit http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif. I was working with Groupee to try to find a solution for this but none exists as of yet.

we set up our own team forum as part of our website...it makes communication and task assignment/management much easier...

we too have set up a forum for our team this year.

the forum is hosted on forumer (info at http://www.forumer.com). Our university would not host it because of security concerns.

Its really helping everyone in their designs because they can get the suport of the whole team (and alumni's) without having to organise a meeting each time !
