I am looking for a GSXR 600 Model (preferably a .SLDPRT file). I had noticed about 6 months ago the web site http://avwrx.com/moto/cad/ which most people recommended for CAD models of bike motors. But now that I need the model, the web site has a "Not Found" error. So I was wondering if anyone had an accurate model. Any help would be great.
Thanks
Miles

I have that model. Solidworks converted the two halves (head and block) into part files. I don't think it's very accurate, but if you want it, leave me your email address.

Hi kwancho,
what year model do you have for the GSX-R 600?
Can you forward it to me?
Thanx

I made this model originally in 2000 and apart from the sump gasket face and the mounting points on the cylinder head it is not too accurate. It's a 1997 GSX-R600W, BTW. However it has been used on the first car we made and the (laser-cut) parts for the rear subframe and the self-made (although akward...;-) dry sump pan were a pretty good fit so the accuracy is sufficient to build a car around it.
As we ran the Mahle engine in our second car I didn't make any attempts to improve this model though.

Might as well jump on this bandwagon. My team is also looking for a GSXR600 model. If there is one available, please send it to tjuliana@udel.edu
Thanks,

To give it an end, there is no CAD-model avaible from me!
As far as I remember, the "model" behind the upper link was/is just a selfmade "box" from one of the grounder of the team.
But hey, this old engine from the late 90s from the SRAD Suzuki was/is the heaviest engine 600cc ever available for FS! Don't mess around and as far as I also remember, there are minimum 3 versions around for different country/year specs (camshafts etc. ), so to have a second engine doesn't mean, it'll fit to your basic setup as a spare engine. At the beginning, this engine was thought to get adapted to a selfdesigned CVT transmission, as it has seperated case levels and mounts on the upper ones. But it sadly never went that way.
Good luck for your teams.
Cheers
