Most people get Aurora rod ends because they have a buy one,get one free sponsorship with FSAE team. Nothing bigger than a 3/8" is your upper end.

3/8" all the way around for us in the past, havent broke any yet. Remember to do something about the front bottoms, dont use a rod end in this application, repeat, do not use a rod end in this application.....(we dont and havent, but I know many many have and many cars were pulled off the track with golf carts when one wheel was dangling by the top mount.)

I'd say mostly 1/4" with a couple 3/16" rodends. 5/16" spherical bearings would be the biggest i'd use on ball joints(worst case). There is certainly no point in rodends bigger then 1/4". Cal Poly also uses Aurora bearings.

All our suspension rod end and spherical bearings are for AN4-series hardware. I'd be down for doin to AN3, but that's up to next year's team.
