Im just curious if anyone here deals with Summit Racing for any of their parts. I've just tried talking to them about ordering some parts and I can't remember dealing with a more ignorant bunch of people! If you are calling and dont know exactly what you are looking for, in other words the call is not going to be a quick sale, they just hang up! I can't believe that a company with a name like theirs has survived with these types of people working for them. Anyway just venting in hopes that they dont get any business from the FSAE community.

so why did you call the order line if you didn't know what you wanted?

Because their website says "not sure what you are looking for, call and speak to one of our friendly sales associates" LOL . I am over it now .... guess I was pretty mad at the time.... Customer service is golden and when find a company thats willing to looka after you and help you through problems thats worth far more than the 10 or 15 percent savings that another company is offering. http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

It definitely depends on who answers the phone. The first time I called, I was blown away with the GOOD customer service. The C.S. guy and I had a good 5 minute conversation (about how underrated my 2nd-gen civic is http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif), even after he found my part. The next time I called, the new guy wasn't near as friendly.
my point is...don't buy from JCWhitney http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif
