Hey guys!! Ive been in the Tire selection for our prototype and i read a good way to select them using the vertical and lateral loads to create a "Performance" graph.
I read it on the Herb Adams "Chassis Engineering" in the first chapter. If you see it, it is represented as a Logarithmic curve, so i grabbed my TTC Fy and Fz and Graphed it (i dont know if thats the correct verb, correct me if im wrong).
What i get from graphing it, its a 25000 point stairlike graph, i mean it, it looks like a staircase, soooo i guess i need to find the best curve that can represent those values.
Soooo, i need to make an arrangement and i think the Logarithmic is the best choice for it because it cant be lineal (acording to the shape of the curve in the book), not potential or exponencial cuz it cant go to the infinite, am i pissing in the right place? is this correct?
Thanks!
Angelo S.
