View Full Version : Wheel Speed/Hall Effect Sensors

We're currently trying to get some appropriate wheel speed sensors to integrate into our data logger. I saw a lot of different sensors in use at competition and in particular some nice screw in ones on some cars. Our ECU dictates it must be a hall effect sensor, so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to where we can get some suitably neat sensors that don't cost silly money. I've had a search through the forum but it only throws up a couple of old threads (circa 2002!) that end up recommending the rather beefy Honeywell ones that we have previously used as Cam sensors. Whilst these do work, they're pretty huge and also rather awkward to mount.
Thanks
