Pro/engineer Wildfire 3, any book reccommendations?

Hi guys.

It's been a long time since I used Pro/E (vers 2001) so now that am doing some work with Wildfire 3 my books and manuals are out of date. Some features in WF3 are to me a little harder because the old menu system (asking you lots of questions but at least navigating you through the different options) have gone!

Now there's just the bottom left corner asking you for stuff but no real structure if you actually want to do something in a slightly different way. I find placing hole features really annoying now. Catia rocks in comparison to WF (for me at the moment).

SO.. does anybody reccommend any of the books that can be bought say from Amazon? I just need something so that if I know the old Pro/E method I can at least find how it's been changed for Wildfire. This will help a lot. Online help is ok but it takes me longer than just flicking a few pages in a book.

so not many people buying books for Wildfire 3 I take it...

I thought quite a lot of US unis use Pro/E, as well as the many using SWX.

Our school teaches ProE through the Rodger Toogood book. There's also a Louis Gary Lamit book that is a bit more in depth. Any wildfire book should work, there's not too much difference between 2 and 3, just a few navigation things that should make it easier on you unless you were used to 2, then it just confuses the hell out of you.

thanks. Yeah, I know about the Toogood books. I have a book on Pro/e 2000 by Gary Graham. I'll check out the Louis Gary Lamit books and then decide.

If the online help were better I wouldn't have a problem really. Just when I'm in the middle of something to get out of the door in half an hour I get in a bit of a rush!

Roger Toogood is one of my profs at school and I've taken several courses with him. I've used his books for Wildfire and MECHANICA and they've been really informative and useful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
