I live in detroit area and i want watch the FSAE. Is it opened to the public? Also do the partcipants ever go inside the dome? Its a great facility. Wondering if there is events in the dome during the week. Thanks.

event is open to the public as far as I know. our area alums stop by all the time. nothing goes on in the dome other than the awards banquet sunday afternoon.

looks like you guys have a blast. there must be over 1,000 people particpating in this. if you had to guess, how many people are they in the FSAE. parking lot must be jammed

...and I think the banquet's elsewhere again this year, but not in the DaimlerChrysler tech center and I'm told with much better food. Last year's food was very disappointing, and the lineup to get it was ridiculous.

But yes, the competition is open to all, so feel free to drop by.

so nothing is going on inside the dome, not even the dinner on sunday? where else are the some of the other events around town for FSAE. would like to attend?
