Well, I am a 5 year FSAE alum from the University of Cincinnati, Bearcat Motorsports. I have an itch to stay around these cars and would like to extend my help to any of the FSAE teams in the New England area. I am working out in Boston for awhile, and would be more than happy to help with welding, be it laying down some beads for someone in need, to helping to teach anyone how to TIG weld. Sounds silly, but I know that some teams really struggle to get either a welder with some experience, or even having to outsource their weld jobs.

I have 5 years of experience welding parts for these cars and am proficient in mild, alloy, and stainless steels, as well as 3000, 5000, and 6000 series aluminum and Grade 5 (6Al-4V) titanium, all in sheet, billet, or tube.

Also, for any of the teams in the area, I'd love to check out your shops and shoot the bull in general about these cars and trade stories, etc.

Give me a shout at my email address...

But, BJ... wouldn't this require you to leave work?

Sounds like a phenominal idea Dave...

In all seriousness, this was a legitimate offer to help out anyone, if needed.
