Hi, I am using a paintball cylinder for shifting. Do look at the image:

Gas: CO2
Inlet Pressure: 3000psi
Outlet pressure: 150psi
Thread: 13/16 inch

That's a pin-type valve, so none of the pressure regulators here in India are compatible.

The rules clearly state that the pressure regulator must be mounted onto the cylinder directly, so I guess I can't use an adapter. But can I use a threaded bushing in case the diameter doesn't match?

I'm looking at some paintball stabilizers, but they're really expensive. So any alternative suggestions please?

Seriously, any suggestion is welcome. I'm at my wit's end here. I've called over 200 companies here in India to no avail.

I'm extremely sorry about the image size. I had assumed that it would be resized appropriately.

Please forgive that.

I think that the output pressure of most CO2 tanks is between 600-900 psi, if yours is measured at 150 psi then it is probably already going through a regulator. Depending on your solenoid operating pressure and actuator bore size you may be able to run on the 150 psi output, but it won't give you any adjustability.

@mmw2753: The output written above is the expected value after regulation. The cylinder itself has a pressure of 3000psi. So the regulator I need is to step it down to 150psi. Suggestion please?

You called 200 companies?!

What's wrong with the regulator that was suggested to you the other day in the other thread (http://fsae.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/125607348/m/87920738151)? It doesn't have to be that exact one if that particular one is "too expensive". What is your budget on this part? There are so many options of paintball hardware out there it's ridiculous. Yes, most of it is probably going to come from the US. All you need is an adjustable regulator with an 1/8" NPT output. eBay would have tons of options to choose from. There are also lots of paintball forums where guys are selling used parts for CHEAP! Use some of that perseverance you used for calling 200 companies in India and start Googling!
