What rim width are people generally running Goddyear 20-6.5-13 tyres on. Our 2004 car has them on 7in and we are told a number of teams do this but the Goodyear engineering data says 6in.
Are many teams running these on 6in rims, or mainly on the wider rims to stabilise the tyre.

I've looked at some of the data goodyear provided to our team. They recommend anywhere from 6-8 inch rims for that tire. We are running a that same tire on a 6.5 inch rim and we are rolling over onto the sidewalls. we are going to go to a 7 inch rim this year. I also want to try to run a 6 inch rim with these tires. I'd like to see what that does to the rolling over onto the sidewalls issue.

We run large offset wheels, and have been having difficultty geeting enough steering angle on the car because of the rim width and geometry on the car.
We were hoping to drop back to 6.5in rim, but were afraid that that might be the case.
