Thread: SoCal Autocross Practice: August 11-12

  1. #1
I just wanted to let everyone know that PFM is hosting a two-day autocross practice next weekend (Aug 11-12), but we're low on entrants so far. I'd like to see at least three other California teams out there if possible (teams from out of state are welcome also).

    More info at http://www.solo2.com/calendar.asp

There will be an FSAE discount as well. $5 off if you want to drive your street car, and the discount for FSAE cars is yet to be decided.

    Thanks,

there are still plenty of spots left, which means you'll get plenty of runs.

I saw some pictures from the Street of Willows with you guys out on track. How often do you take the car to trackdays?

that was our first time taking the car out to a track like that. It was definitely an interesting experience.

Where did you see the pics, we would love to see them!

I saw a couple pics thru rennlist.com. One of the guys that was there had a few pictures. he was running a black Lambo Gallardo. I've always been interested in running one of these cars at the track, but am too afraid of the consequences to myself if something were to break or if I were to go off course. When we run at some of the local autoxs we're seeing speeds in excess of 80 mph going into corners where if you miss you're braking zone or spin mid corner you're off into the grass/ditches. I'd be interested to hear how you handled it on track and how hard you pushed it.
