Our campus is spread throughout the downtown core...you can literally have whatever you want, whenever you want, depending on how far your willing to travel.

Unfortunately team excursions to McDonald's at 3 am become more and more frequent the closer to competition it gets.

There is always the street meat guy outside our door who was recently "exposed" in a school paper as being on welfare, working for cash, sleeping on the job, and using the side of our shop as his personal restroom.....but you know....the stand is open 24 hours.

HEY. My Mini-fridge won't have any diarrhea pockets inside of it.

Also--Chicken Shack is open pretty late.....

We don't dare keep food in our fridge unless you're trying to start some kind of mold experiment.

There is a McDonalds that has seen our crew far too often and is where one of our team members discovered the McChubble.

Also there was a CNC event that occurred during a question of whether the operator wanted a Del Taco taco or burrito.

Also every Saturday is lunch at Chipottle (pronounced Chi-Pote-le).

Earlier this semester we invested in a pizza cooker for our computer lab, it's infinitely useful. The adjacent fridge is also always stocked with mountain dew.

We have a small (and dirty :P) kitchen in our workshop so every day some random team member is told to cook dinner.

Macaroni bolognese (or pasta red sauce as we simply call it) is probably the most popular dish because it's relatively easy to cook for 20 people. Because obviously you just take a few jars of Heinz tomato sauce and throw in the cheapest mince meat and vegetables.

We had an Italian guy in our 2009 team. When we served him our "pasta red sauce" he hardly knew what was happening to him.

As the year evolves into the assembly phase and nights become longer and longer, 2am trips to the nearby Burger King or McDonald's become more and more frequent just to keep you going for a few more hours.

Also, near our testing ground there is a McDonald's so the testing crew will go there like 3 times per week. At that point you can no longer deny that FSAE is bad for your health.

    Interesting topic by the way!

    Do want this.

Someone usually brings pizza to testing, and bbqs have been known to show up too.

We happen to have a fume hood in our office, for some unknown reason. It contains a small coleman propane bbq for burgers and smokies, as well as a deep fryer for fries and onion rings.

You should ask them for sponsorship, they wouldn't deny looking at your frequency! :P

Here in India, there are roadside eateries which serve good spicy food and its a bliss to have during the nights. But then the team becomes sluggish and sleepy!

Although most of the time trying to do FSAE in Manhattan is a hindrance, when it comes to quick food, it's unbeatable. There are at least a dozen places to eat delicious food within a 10 minute walk, and everywhere delivers. The best places in the neighborhood are across the street from the engineering building. Che Bella pizza and Appletree Supermarket (rather, the deli at Appletree), I'm looking at you.
