Our PLM system has been down or partly down since friday night, with this beeing right around design deadline we are not all happy campers. But hey, merging 20-something different main assemblies can't possibly go wrong, can it?

Catia was made by the French or something in the 90's. They haven't updated the interface since....Originally posted by absolutepressure:

I know of a band named "Click OK to terminate" made up of Catia users.
I spent a solid year swearing at Catia after switching from solidworks. That was with a week of Dassault training too.
rant removed
Try to use Beta CAE ANSA as CAD to design style surfaces. :-)

OMFG NX bites. Every item is a "part". Each file has the same extension = confusion. Graphics slow. Give me Solidworks, Solid Edge, or even Inventard.
FEMap = heavy, slow graphics, no ability to apply pressures over projected area of plate elements! Little associativity. Weird "scale factor" problems. Give me a break.
