I need a way of transferring the pedal force to actuate vertical master cylinders, I am thinking you can use something like a bell crank is that right?
Cheers

you can use magnets
Items which change the direction of an applied force:
Pulleys
Cams
Levers
Bellcranks
Wheelbarrows
Windmills
Hydraulic Rams (the brakes don't have enough hydraulics IMHO)
Buttons (electrical ones)
Rattlesnakes
Babies
String
Bicycles
Rob Woods
Forcefields
Chuck Norris
That guy who frisks you at the airport
Ball screws
In seriousness, yes, you can use a bellcrank like linkage to push down on the cylinders. Be careful of misalignment between the threaded actuator attached to the piston and the cylinder though, it will give a non-linear response to pedal force, and side loads the pistons.
Best,
Drew

Chuck Norris does not change the direction of an applied force, the force simply changes direction to avoid Chuck Norris.Originally posted by Drew Price:
