Thread: Single rear brake on Drexler LSD

    Can be done. We replaced our diffs' splined end with a non-splined one (like the right-side endcap), because it wasn't needed (we do not use a chain drive as the diff is placed inside the electric motor assembly...)

    The only problem I have with this is a single brake being used on a car with a LSD. Unless I'm missing something here. -_-

    It really depends on the type of LSD and whether it is a problem. For a Torsen type, as long as you don't pick up a wheel it should work ok ( same thing applies if you pick up a wheel and hit the gas pedal). For a Clutch pack type, it should work regardless since the clutches are helping you out.
