Thread: ETS on Discovery

just saw you guys on discovery channel. The discovery crew should do more on FSAE/Baja. Im sure we're gonna see more students goin at it than paul Sr. and Jr.

I've been to both FSAE and Baja competition, and i must say, Baja autox is just so much fun! and i know rob woods would back me up on this

They came this summer to film the baja crew who won the 3 SAE competition. The monster garage are the one who ask them if they could film their baja. I didnt know that they also filmed the fsae. I guess it was the fsae04 cause the 05 was still in a crate coming back from England. And by the way, how long was our appareance.

Anyone know what the name of the specific show was? I'd like to try and catch it if it comes on again.

i think it'd be cool to see an fsae-style build on monster garage. IIRC, west coast choppers has sponsored long beach state in the past, and the whole show is produced in southern california (i actually used to know a neighbor of the producer, and he almost bought my car to make a wood chipper early in the show)...put all these top notch fabricators and stuff to work, start with like suspension pieces and an engine and have them fab up the frame and such, then race it against one of our cars...

It was on discovery last night. I hardly ever watched monster garage, but they were gonna show a cool looking mechanical dolphin, so i figured, i'd stick around. And whadayaknow ... saw two ETS guys dancing silly at the end of the show (are they for real?! )

it should be on again this w/end. I think you can browse thru their website and find out the timing.

I have no video editing software, but I can see what I can find from buddies, otherwise I have the whole hour recorded right now.

Off the topic, anyone have a working verison of the Buckeye burnout and the Cornell Turbo jet bike they fired off outside the shop??
