    Calibration Engineer for Bosch Engineering in the UK

    Your responsibilities and tasks:
    Calibration of BOSCH engine management systems for UK customers.
    Planning, executing and evaluation of measurements at test bench and in the vehicle. Optimization of the corresponding parameters (e.g. engine base calibration, vehicle calibration, on board diagnostics)
    Interface to our development centre in Abstatt / Germany
    Customer contact for technical questions
    Carry out tests at engine test beds and test vehicles, function tests and data analyses
    Creation of technical development reports (in English) to report the final status of the completed calibration tasks
    Initial operation, calibration and verification of specific functions at the engine, vehicle dynamometers or test track
    Effort estimation and planning of own calibration tasks
    Evaluation of customer requirements and create test plans and test reports
    Participation at test trips (summer, winter, altitude tests, test tracks)
    Presentation, discussion and approval of the results at customer


    Your competencies and qualifications:
    Graduate degree in technical disciplines (e.g. mechanic or electronic engineering)
    Ideally: experience at calibration of engine management systems
    Base know-how of engines and vehicles
    Flexible person and able to work under pressure
    Pioneer spirit - willing to support built up of a new engineering site in the UK
    Good communicator; good at English
    Good technical analysis and logical thinking, solution-oriented
    Readyness for travelling
    Open minded team-worker with intercultural competence
