Thread: a question about the front wing

    hello everyone~ i'm new here and it's the first time that i join in a FSAE team^^
    i wonder whether we can make a curved front wing on our own, and how about the U shape wing, how can i know that whether i can make it with carbon fiber and some other material?

    Wrong. That rule forbids the use of a non- integer number of wheels and tires.

    sorry i can't get you clearly.
    cus i'm in china to take part in the event and it's only the second session.
    Do you mean that making the parts on our own is not allowed? We just want to reduce the weight by making on our own

    but sorry i don't know what do you mean by non-integer number of wheels.....does it have anything to do with the material?

    You can try with carton fiber. Cost less, easy to bond.
