Thread: Wireless Communication with PE ECU at MIS

  1. #1
    Hi Everyone,

We just got back from MIS and had a great time. Congrats to all of the schools who participated this year.

We saw a lot of schools using our new EDGE ECU in some very creative ways especially taking advantage of the Ethernet communication. I am interested to hear any experience using wireless communication with the ECU at the race itself. Specifically, what kind of router, antenna, device did you use and what kind of range was attainable in the race setting.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated and will help us improve upon this in the future.

    Thanks again.

I have heard from the Air Force and Villanova who both had very good success at MIS with wireless Ethernet and the EDGE.

    Anybody else out there?

    Thanks.

If our school ends up grabbing one consider it a done deal for us. Wireless has been something we have been talking about for quite some time.

Very cool. It seems to work very well for very low price. All you need is a wireless router and our EDGE ECU.
