P.S. a team stopped by our paddock and told us that they took a photo of our car on 2 wheels. If that photo really exists please let us know! Thanks
    Yeah, that was me:

The left side of the frame shows that two more photographers may have captured it too.
    Anyone know who they are?

I have another picture from about one second before this one - it shows the opposite rear tire off of the ground.

Horace, I'm emailing you higher resolution versions of those two. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

    Nice Driving!
How did you manage to do that?

I once saw a video a few years ago from a competition from Bruntingthorpe, where a car hit a curb at maximum lateral acceleration, went on two wheel and nearly cartwheeled before landing in the gravel and spinning twice.
Does anyone know where to find this vid again?

Our vehicle status changed on sunday to heavily damaged. More information can be found here:

Hey Mike, your car is looking really nice.

But you might want to double check rule 3.5.5.2 Exhaust Outlet as it looks a little high.

    3.5.5.2 Exhaust Outlet

The exhaust outlet(s) must not extend more than 60 cm (23.6 inches) behind the
centerline of the rear axle, and shall be no more than 60 cm (23.6 inches) above the
    ground.

See you guys in a week

Well spotted James :P There was a bit of a mixup with the company that made our exhaust and they thought the max height we gave them was a 'guidline' rather than a definative rule! We've been running with a cut down can in testing and we stuck the full length one on for launch since the shorter one had no packing in it at the time and we fired her up for the crowd

The cut down can is fine though and will pass noise no probs. It is a bit scary that we're only a week away now. The car is in bits again today before teting tomorrow!

Hey Mike, cars comming along Nicely, done about two weeks of solid testing now and we have the set-ups just about nailed. The car is going to be heavy again as we have only had a core team of 7 people with 5 of them working on the engine alone. So as you might guess the biggest steps of performance has been done on the engine side of things.
A switch to E85 has bought a nice big chunk of extra power, but the engine boys have been mainly concentrating on transient mapping to make the car really drivable. A big bonus of this is that we are actually using less E85 over an endurance distance than we were using petrol over an endurance distance last year. Should put us in good stead for the fuel economy competition.
Plus we have been pulling regular 3.9 acceleration time down the main strait at
Pembrey with the fastest being a 3.81, but you know what its like with different surfaces so if we get under a 4 sec id be really happy.

Chassis wise we have fabricated 2 new chassis for class 1 and class 2, with the class 1 being an evolution of last years chassis with the emphasis on improving driver visibility, a redesigned and much improved suspension systems front and rear and a focus on the service-ability of the car as some parts last year were a massive pain in the arse to get at.

As soon as the body gets back from paint (which should be today) and gets stickerd-up I'll bang some photos of it up.
