    Hey everyone,

This years Nationals was as crazy as ever. I am sure you guys know that the weather was rainy, sunny, rainy, sunny, rainy, sunny all in the matter of about 2 hours. However, we were really fortunate for the first day it poored during the third heat. Of course, we all got a little wet, but by the teme the fourth heat started, the track was 80% dry. By second runs, the clean line was dry. And by third runs, temperatures started dropping and the track cooled off. Just to give you an idea of how late things ran, cars were running their last runs of the 5th heat (of 6) with their headlights on. Poor C-modified guys.

Other crazy events like the North Course getting torn apart by the heat previous caused huge delays. That is the main reason that we ran so late the first day.

The second day was what we all come to expect out of nationals. Nice temp, dry track, and a great surface on the south course. I think most would agree that the south course was much more technical with some difficult to spot turn in points. All I can say is watch the video, we will have it posted soon on our website. We also recorded g-data with the g-analyst. There is a series of walls on the North side of the south course and we recorded 1.7 turning into it, 1.78, 1.84, and 2.05 lateral g's through the maneuver. I <3 geez!!!!

One thing I do want to say is we could have our own heat at nationals if half of the current cars built for FSAE showed up. There was a field of 55 super stock drivers and I know we make more cars than they do every year. I hope more teams make the effort to make an appearance at SCCA Nationals in the future. It is a lot of fun and definitely not the Formula SAE environment. We are doing what these cars were built to do, race.

Well, hope I didn't make this too long of a read.

Hey guys, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped out the Maryland FSAE team. Taking apart half the car just to fit it in the van was interesting to say the least. It was struggle for us with only two guys but it totally worked out! More teams should come out. It is a great experience. Thanks
