We hope everyone's preparations are going well for forthcoming Formula Student Competition. Have a safe journey to Silverstone and we look forward to seeing you later this week.

The weather isn't looking too bad, see http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/5000? for a 5 day forecast

Like always on Silverstone: The weather forecast says "Sunny" the actual weather is "sunny everywhere except on Silverstone"

Can't wait to see all the cars in action! GL @ scrutineering to all teams.

The first time I stay at home while the team is going to a competition since FSG 2008. Feels a bit strange.

Looking forward to hearing news from Silverstone. Good luck to all teams!

Our car is on its way to Silverstone. I'm very much looking forward to seeing all the teams again.

If you want to stay updated, you can follow our Twitter list with currently 105 FSAE teams, officials and individuals: http://twitter.com/#!/amzracing/fsae (if one is missing, send us a message)

Check out our car profile and stop by our pit if you have any questions http://www.racecar-engineering.com/cars/zurich/

I hope the Class 1A pits are not just tents. Water and electricity don't go together well and a dry floor would be nice.

What happened to the grandstand next to the pavilion, is that not a viewing area?

    Regards
    Thomas

Who can help me complete the list of car weights?

In Class 1A, I have found:

    Delft 178.5
Zürich 180.5 (significantly more power than Delft though, 2x35kW vs. 2x28kW, so good job Zürich )

    And in Class 1:

    GFR 163
    Munich 188.5
    Stuttgart 192.5

Please keep the car weights & other updates coming!

1A have had statics today. Do they actually havy anything tomorrow besides getting the last scrutineering stickers and doing some test runs? Or are there some dynamic events for 1A tomorrow?

70 kW??? Where are they going to put that with a 180 kg car? Are they aiming for takeoff speed?

Anyway, "fuel economy" or how it's called for 1A is going to get interesting.

    Class 1:

    155 for Bath, very nice!

    Cheers!
