Thread: First Year Blog

  1. #1
I am the team captian of FSAE at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. We are a first year team and I thought it would be interesting, for those of you interested to follow a rookie team through the year designing and building our car. Check it out at http://www.orgs.muohio.edu/miamisae/2006blog.php and look back often for new posts.

This is a great idea. More teams should do this (I'd say Cornell should, but we can't even update a freaking webpage.)

If you could set up an RSS feed for it, it'd be easier to follow for me at least.

Thanks for the link - I'll be following with interest.

If it ever makes it to a 'mailing list' that saves (lazy/forgetful...) me the effort of checking back then please chuck marko@cosic.org.uk on!

    beat you to it:

but we only covered the actual competition. don't expect any updates as the year goes on. t'was a good way to keep the sponsors informed.

We have you beat still. Our engine log goes back through January.

this blog generated quite a lot of discussion both on these forums and at competition.

I always had it in the back of my mind more as something to have on the website for the frosh/potential recruits, so that they could get an idea of what kind of stuff we actually do.

That's awesome. Props man. Your whole website looks great.
It renews hope for my own team, and hopefully we will have a website within the next month. Im definitely sharing it with the forums.
