    Advanced Engine Management (AEM) currently has 3 Engineering positions available for work on our new Engine Management System.

    EMS Application Technician
    This person will take production cars and develop a version of our EMS to replace the factory ECU. Included in this process will be the wiring adaptation, initial engine mapping, sensor characterization and final mapping on a chassis dyno.

    A successful candidate must have a minimum of two years experience in tuning Haltech, Electromotive, Motec, SpeedPro or a similar stand-alone engine management system. Must be knowledgeable in basic engine theory, basic automobile repair and dynamometer tuning. Must be very PC Literate and possess basic hands-on electronics skills including soldering. Vehicle wiring background helpful but not required. Must have own tools and a reasonable driving record.

    EMS Development Engineer
    This position involves hardware design for new products and to support in-house testing, diagnosing failed components and calibrating sensors and injectors.

    A successful candidate must have a minimum of one year experience in tuning Haltech, Electromotive, Motec, SpeedPro or a similar stand-alone engine management system. Must be knowledgeable in basic engine theory and sensor applications. Test fixture design background desired. Must be very PC Literate and possess basic hands-on electronics skills. Solidworks experience helpful but not required. 4 year Engineering degree required.

    This entry level position involves customer support with hardware and software technical issues on the EMS system.

    A successful candidate must be familiar with engine management systems, basic engine theory, and automobile repair. Must be very PC Literate and possess basic hands-on mechanical and electronics skills. 4 year Engineering degree required.

    We are looking for hands on people who can get the job done with a minimum of supervision. All positions are located in the Los Angeles area.
