Yoshimura is offering 3 muffler configurations that are eligible for special FSAE pricing.
TRRS3186W $199.50 RS3 Oval (Race baffle, stainless construction with Ti sleeve) 18" long
TZRS3186W $178.50 RS3 Oval (same as above with Zyclone baffle that is more restrictive but quieter)
TRRS3206W $199.50 RS3 Oval (Race baffle, stainless construction with Ti sleeve) 20" long
The weights are as follows

TZRS3186W 4.78lbs
TRRS3206W 4.22lbs
It was evident that the Race baffle is sufficient to pass noise at the competition if your fuel injection is tuned correctly. However, sales said that there were some teams that ordered Zyclone baffles and they asked that these be included. As before, if you purchase a Zyclone muffler you can purchase a "Comp baffle kit" to convert it to a race type baffle (the comp baffle is still more restrictive than the Race baffle). Race mufflers cannot be converted to Zyclone spec.
When calling the order line please state that you are with an FSAE team and the name of your school, your contact in the sales department is Doug Wells. Any hardware required for mounting the muffler (springs, clamps, heat insulators) are available to FSAE teams at dealer cost.
This offer is open to teams competing in FSAE, Formula Student, and Formula Australia.
The only thing we ask in return is a nice picture (hi-res digital is okay) of the car clearly showing the exhaust. Static shots are okay but dynamic shots are better.
