    I'd be very interested in anything you dig up about AMT or discussing any ideas. Feel free to drop me an e-mail. I have been toying with the idea for a while now but I've found almost no decent information online.

    The book "Automotive Control Systems for Engine, Driveline and Vehicle" by U.Kiencke and L. Nielsen, 2000. (http://www.bookfinder.us/review4/3540669221.html) does have a section on AMT including a data from an actual test application. The book covers all kinds of other great stuff too. I found it in my university engineering library and had it out for about 8 months.
