Thread: BOOK LIST to reference for car design

  1. #1
    Hi all,

I've put this list together last year, and made it available to guys on our team and will do the same this year. It's up to individuals to read the books. I have not read all the books on this list, so I don't know if they are all good, but I have looked through a lot of them.

Please add other books to this list so that all may benefit. Thanks,

Did you buy "Measurement Of Gas Flow By Means Of Critical Flow Venturi Nozzles"? Its bloody expensive.

iso standards should be in your library

it only covers "choked flow" which you dont get with a naturally aspirated engine

but gives you an insite into how these things work

Engine Management and Maximum boost are both excellent books. i also recommend those. currently im readng Fundamentals of vehicle dynamics. its a good primer, focussing on the loads and elements of motion the vehicle sees.
