Our team is currently seeking an EFI Trackside Engineer to oversee NASCAR Cup engine application of Roush Yates powered race cars, ensuring optimum performance and reliability.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Optimize, produce, implement, manage all production engine calibrations at chassis dyno, race events and track testing.
Interface and support crew chiefs, team engineers, and tuners before, during and after the race weekend to achieve optimum engine and racecar performance.
Manage NASCAR spec ECU software via updates, calibration changes, validation and implementation.
Analyze engine data, operating conditions and calibration adjustments to ensure optimum at-track performance and reliability.
Facilitate troubleshooting engine and EFI system issues during the race weekends, and track tests.
Compile, analyze and summarize ECU engine data post-race each week.
Support pre-race chassis dyno sessions.
Contribute to department EFI procedures and documentation with the aim of improved accuracy and efficiency.
Develop and implement new software tools as needed for data processing, and calibration.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

A bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering with 0-3 years of relevant work experience
Strong knowledge of internal combustion engine fundamentals
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
Experience with professional engine control systems, hardware and software
Experience with data acquisition systems
Ability to work effectively in a small group of focused and talented engineers
High level of computer literacy, especially advanced use of Excel
Must comply with NASCAR drug screening process
Must be available to travel each weekend during the NASCAR season and to testing and other race events during the week
Good verbal and written communication skills (ability to describe issues in a clear and concise manner)
Experience with McLaren software (System Monitor and ATLAS) and VBA/C/C++ or similar coding desired
