Milano Technical Group’s Mechanical engineers develop the next-generation technologies that transform the agriculture landscape, explore new methods of farming, and set the bar for industry efficiency. Our products must handle wide-ranging scenarios, and extend well beyond those of traditional agriculture needs and perfomance. We're looking for engineers/developers who bring fresh ideas from all areas: Vehicle design, Mechatronics, and large-scale system design, and cost effective implement design.
As a mechanical engineer, you will work on specific projects critical to Milano Technical Group’s customers and industry needs. We need our engineers to be adaptable, demonstrate leadership qualities, and have the needed optimism and determination to take on new problems as we drive technology and the industry forward. In this position you would help build the world’s best, and most highly-sophisticated advanced agriculture automated systems. You would be part of a small group of engineers that will quickly develop high-quality, cost effective, and* uniquely designed equipment*for the new generation of automation in agriculture. We are looking for the drive, passion, and dedication the FSAE, Formula Hybrid, and Formula Electric so often bring to the table. We prefer an engineer who has committed themselves to a lead position in chassis, electric, Vehicle dynamics, or controls.

Responsibilities:

Above working knowledge of C, C++, and Matlab and willing to learn other languages to working knowledge.

Fluent in CAD and analysis software, i.e. SOLIDWORKS simulation, OnShape, or AUTODESK.

Great understanding of component design, assembly design, and materials.

Fluent in building data logging/acquisition*systems including, including sensors (IMU, thermal, flow, strain gauges, accelerometers, etc.)

Experience in microcontrollers for prototyping.

Working knowledge in*manufacturing(machining,*welding, metal formation, injection molding, etc.).

Passionate about DFM.

High-level knowledge and experience in sensor types, communication methods, measurement methods. In cooperation with industrial I/O modules or data acquisition systems.

Preferred Working knowledge of vision systems and frame grabbers.

Oversee the installation and operation of various mechanical systems

In-Field Code modification.

Develop and present schematic design proposals

Document design narratives & engineering analysis

Qualifications:

The greater diversity in engineering experience the better.

Bachelors Degree, Recent graduates welcome( with hands-on experience at university)

Strong Communication skills and critical thinking skills.

Coding experience is a must.

Willingness to perform field studies in summer.
