I have learnt a sad news last week.

Because of huge floods, a taxi driver and 3 students were killed at Formula Student China. I have very little information. I imagine this did happened just before or at the beginning of the competition.

I understand the competition has been postponed.

I was supposed to judge at that competition but because of a last minute call for consulting in Europe, I had to cancel.

Several years ago several students died on the road to FSAE Michigan. We can never be safe enough.

If anything I could say, independently of the circumstances of FSC accident, is that we need to keep in mind that safety is our #1 concern. At the workshop, on the road, at the competitions.

Many people, starting with the students families, keep "investing" love, hopes, time and money in students young lives. The best way to respect this placement is to keep safety as our #1 concern.

Sad news. The international Formula Student community is mourning.
