    95-octane

Hi every one can you help me pleas
What is the heating value of 95-octane unleaded gasoline in KJ/Kg ?

42.4 - 44.4 MJ/kg (not a well resurched figure, use at your own risk)

I'm interested in how you will use this number in FSAE, and reminds me I should do my own calcs to determine the engines efficiency.

Is it 95 research, motor, or mixed (US) octane?

Is it all-hydrocarbon gasoline, or a blend with ethanol or methanol?

If you do not get the exact answer for the fuel you have, how far off does the value you used for simulation have to be before your spark plug changes from the brown you anticipated to "death grey"?
