    Electronically Controlled Flow Valve

So currently running a Honda CBR600 F4i, and was having over-cooling problems last year. Is there any way (other than reducing rad size) that it could be kept under control? For example, I was thinking about perhaps a flow valve linked to a thermostat sensor and the ECU? Then the ECU could open/close the valve when the engine got too hot/cold... Does that make sense or am I not even close?

    How about a thermostat?

    ^^^ that.

Cooling fans running all the time? Put them on a thermoswitch.

If you have the opportunity to make the radiator smaller, why wouldn't you jump at that idea? Radiators full of coolant are heavy...
