Registration will open at 8.30 am and the presentations start at 9.00 am.

The morning presentations will include 2015 Rules Changes, Team Organization and the Business Logic Case. In the afternoon, the presentations will cover Sponsorship, Design Considerations and Fasteners-The Basics. Following a break, there will be parallel break-out sessions that will cover Electrical Design Considerations for the EV and Hybrid teams, Aerodynamics, Suspension & Steering, Powertrain, and Fasteners-201.

The presenters include Danny Bocci, Dennis Brown, John Bucknell, William Attard, Michael Black and Tony Lyscio, the Chief Design Judge at FSAE Michigan. The day will end with a general Q & A and discussion around vehicles that teams are encouraged to bring.

The cost is $10 for pre-registered SAE student members and $15 for students who are not SAE members or for those who register on the day of the event.

Although on-site participation is encouraged and more beneficial, WebEx will be available for teams who are unable to attend in person. (However, Webex will not be available for the afternoon break-out sessions.) The cost for WebEx is $20, and an access code will be emailed to registrants prior to the workshop.
