Job Duties:
Design, build, and simulate circuits, perform testing, and complete verification of circuits against design requirements.
Design analog and digital circuits using Mentor Graphics DxDesigner, and maintain schematics and parts library.
Define component placement and routing of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) using Mentor Graphics PADS software.
Troubleshoot and test electronics using oscilloscopes, function generators, and electronic lab equipment.
Develop and execute verification test procedures.
Create all needed documentation for the fabrication of PCBs and related electronics, including component drawings, assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, and bill of materials lists.
Generate specifications for parts and assemblies.
Generate purchase orders related to electronics design, and work with vendors and manufacturers of boards, components, and assemblies.

Job Expectations & Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in hardware and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design including through-hole, Surface Mount Technology (SMT), and multi-layer technologies.
Experience in Mentor Graphics PADS and DxDesigner, preferred.
Experience with automotive systems, a plus.
Self-starter with strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to also work well within a team environment.
