Job Duties:
• Design, build, and simulate circuits, perform testing, and complete verification of circuits against design requirements.
• Design analog and digital circuits using Mentor Graphics DxDesigner, and maintain schematics and parts library.
• Define component placement and routing of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) using Mentor Graphics PADS software.
• Troubleshoot and test electronics using oscilloscopes, function generators, and electronic lab equipment.
• Develop and execute verification test procedures.
• Create all needed documentation for the fabrication of PCBs and related electronics, including component drawings, assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, and bill of materials lists.
• Generate specifications for parts and assemblies.
• Generate purchase orders related to electronics design, and work with vendors and manufacturers of boards, components, and assemblies.

Job Expectations & Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in hardware and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design including through-hole, Surface Mount Technology (SMT), and multi-layer technologies.
• Experience in Mentor Graphics PADS and DxDesigner, preferred.
• Experience with automotive systems, a plus.
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to also work well within a team environment.
