Thread: Is the SES required?

    Is the SES required?

I was wondering if the SES form is required for all teams even if all rules are followed.

Would drilling holes into the main roll hoop or other tubes on the car merit an SES submission?

    SES Needed?

    Jennifer,
    Please read T3.9.1 which says:
T3.9.1 All teams MUST submit either a STRUCTURAL EQUIVALENCY SPREADSHEET (SES) or a STRUCTURAL REQUIREMENTS CERTIFICATION FORM (SCRF).

All teams MUST submit an SES unless they are building to the Alternative Frame Rules, in which case the have to submit an SCRF.

And these documents are reviewed thoroughly and MUST be approved before the team will receive a Tech sticker.
