I'd keep riding my bike until I found something that wasn't automatic.
Chase,
Where do you go to school?
A few of us usually go out with the UBCSCC but haven't recently.
Are there any videos online?
Looks like it was lots of fun!
Has anyone heard of inboard 1/4-28 threaded 1/4 eye rod ends failing?
As others have mentioned and as I have found out the calculated loads indicate these should be more than sufficient.

The best depends on various factors...
For our team where manufacturing is a large concern the shoulder, press fit and retaining ring is the best method of constraint.
If you read this thread...
Have any of you had any problems maintaining adequate amounts of misalignment when using the shoulder/press/snapring method of constraint?

I was more wondering if the two plates were constrained to the middle bearing housing by anything more than a press fit?
Thanks for all the info Denny.
Sounds like they also have it simulated to track (with throttle inputs etc)
Very cool!
Nice ride Denny - I just started mountain biking again...but I'm on my old Asama circa 1997 - vintage :-)

I have a few 510's that I'm rather attached to!
I drove the endurance, have a video walk around of the course and LFS is good fun...maybe I should try and do this!
