Wow, long ways back. I seem to remember 35 deg as the max angle in 2005 on the inside wheel.. In '04 they were Suzuki atv front outers, but in 05 were custom made by RCV performance and were able to...
forgot to drain the water and it cracked the block when it froze. Won't do that again!
Looking for 2001-2003 GSXR600 longblock, or perhaps just a matching set of engine cases.

well hey.. at least the rod-end in bending didn't break!
I didn't get much interest, so I haven't really been pushing it. Been busy with other things now that the weather is nice.
looking for some aluminum honeycomb paneling for a project I'm working on. Need a piece 48"x48" and 48"x24"
3/4" thickness would be good, but could go 1" or 1/2".
It would be sort of a shear panel...

My solution is to use one size larger rod end/spherical and make spacers with a nice slip fit. The other option is to go one size smaller for the bolt. I found that even if you get it nice and tight...
Right now it is a front view only, but the side and top views should be easy to do. I've seen 3D points on an XY chart done by projections but involves many rotation matrices as well.
Over the past month, I've been tinkering with a spreadsheet and made something useful of it.
It starts at the statics page with whole-vehicle parameters. Some of the design aspects can be worked...

13" or 10"?
4x100?
hub diameter?
offset?
Thanks,

For those of you curious, the lowest cost was just under $9000 and there were 91 entries. by the looks of the endurance start list though, only 75 cars are in working order. It definitely felt...
Our 07 team has a major problem with the trigger wheel. It MUST be 60-2 tooth for a TEC3r, which must run external to the engine because the sensor/wheel doesn't fit internally on the GSXR600. And...
did anyone keep a copy? its gone already
>what simulation software/algorithm
-IPG CarMaker,
-pacejka tire data from the TTC,
-IPG Kinematics for the suspension model
-IPG driver retrained for each iteration
-a monte carlo simulation...
In a paper I just finished, I found that decreasing yaw inertia actually increased the lap time slightly. Compared to some other parameters it really didn't have much effect.
Actually, the GSXR600/750/1000 (same pan) is also used in sidecar racing with the engine practically scraping the ground. I've seen one or two setups that would be perfect for a FSAE car. It wouldn't...
